JAKARTA - The Gaikindo International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 automotive exhibition is ready to be held on July 30 to August 9, 2026.

The annual event is an opportunity for automotive manufacturers to launch new models and boost vehicle sales in the second half of this year.

In the event, PT Astra Sedaya Finance or known as Astra Credit Companies (ACC) and Toyota Astra Finance (TAF) target, as many as 4,000-4,500 vehicle order letters (SPK) with a credit disbursement value of around Rp. 2 trillion.

This was conveyed by the Project Director of ACC-TAF GIIAS 2026 and Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of ACC Tan Chian Hok at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 22.

"I just said that we want it, in fact, the achievement is the same as 2025. But, if we target, hopefully we can get financing for SPK around 4,000 to 4,500 SPK with a total financing value of approximately Rp. 1.8 trillion to Rp. 2 trillion," he said.

The man who was ready to be called Ahok added that his party was also focusing on financial literacy through the implementation of GIIAS 2026.

Thus, visitors who attend the exhibition can gain knowledge related to financing and credit payment capabilities.

"But in fact we are not talking about the problem of SPK and financing alone, but rather financial education. How, what is the financing, what is the process. If there are problems, how and so on. That is what I think is more important before we make a credit decision," he said.

With a target of around 4,500 SPK, it is hoped that it will drive the wheels of the national economy. This is because the purchase of vehicles involves a fairly extensive supply chain.

"Hopefully this event can increase the automotive market. If the number increases, it will certainly increase Indonesia's economy as well," said Ahok.

To note, Astra Credit Companies (ACC) and Toyota Astra Finance (TAF) which are part of Astra Financial, are again the Platinum Financial Partner at GIIAS 2026.

Participation for the eighth time is part of the company's commitment to supporting the growth of the national automotive industry through the provision of integrated financing solutions.

At GIIAS 2026, ACC and TAF collaborated with five Astra Financial business units, namely FIFGROUP, Astra Insurance, Astra Life, AstraPay and Bank Saqu. In addition, ACC and TAF also partnered with OLXmobbi as Official Trade-In Partner.

The collaboration presents an integrated financial solution that includes financing of four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicles, vehicle and life protection, digital transactions, digital banking services, and vehicle exchange facilities.

Ahok assessed that the presence of ACC and TAF at GIIAS was a form of continued commitment to make it easier for people to own vehicles.

"Through the collaboration of various Astra Financial business units, we want to provide an increasingly easy, safe and comfortable vehicle ownership experience, from the financing process to protection and financial transactions," he said.

Based on data from the Indonesian Financing Company Association for the period January-May 2026, ACC and TAF four-wheeled vehicle financing reached Rp. 29 trillion or around 29.2 percent of the national four-wheeled vehicle financing market share.

This achievement is one of the foundations for ACC and TAF to continue to expand public access to automotive financing through participation in the GIIAS The Series series.
