PTPP Wins ITS Tower 4 Construction Project Worth IDR 151.9 Billion

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, has again strengthened its contribution to the development of national infrastructure through the acquisition of the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Tower 4 construction project. This project is part of efforts to improve the quality of higher education facilities and support equitable access to superior education in Indonesia.

The ITS Tower 4 construction project has a contract value of IDR 151.9 billion (including VAT), with a period of implementation of 365 calendar days and a maintenance period of 360 calendar days. The acquisition of this project reflects PTPP's commitment to supporting the development of modern, adaptive, and sustainable educational infrastructure.

As one of the leading technology universities in Indonesia, ITS has a strategic role in producing superior human resources who are ready to face the challenges of the industry and national digital transformation.

The construction of ITS Tower 4 is also in line with the agenda of national education equity, especially in providing quality education facilities that can increase learning capacity, research, and innovation. The presence of adequate educational infrastructure is expected to strengthen the competitiveness of the Indonesian young generation and expand access to quality higher education.

In addition, this project also supports the implementation of the Government's Asta Cita of the Republic of Indonesia, especially in strengthening human resource development, improving the quality of national education, and encouraging the mastery of science and technology as the foundation for the Golden Indonesia 2045.

PTPP Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, said that the company would continue to present the best construction works that would add value to the community and national development.

The construction project of Tower 4 ITS is part of the company's contribution in creating a modern education ecosystem to support the improvement of the quality of Indonesian human resources," said Joko Raharjo, in his statement, Tuesday, July 14.

PTPP itself has a strong track record in the development of higher education infrastructure in Indonesia. Previously, the company had successfully completed various campus and educational facilities projects, including the construction of the East Java Veteran FISIP UPN Building in Surabaya with an integrated twin tower concept and an iconic skybridge measuring 22 meters.

In addition, PTPP is also involved in the development of the campus area of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University of Malang Phase II in Batu City which includes academic facilities, student dormitories, to the implementation of solar panels as part of the concept of sustainable development.

Not only that, PTPP has also contributed to the development of various other higher education facilities such as the State University of Malang, the B Campus of Airlangga University Surabaya, and the Twin Tower Project of Diponegoro University Semarang which is part of the development of modern academic infrastructure in Indonesia.
