JAKARTA - The Land Bank (BBT) targets to control 35,000 hectares of land by 2026. If achieved, BBT's total assets will reach 70,000 hectares by the end of the year.

Deputy Head of the Agrarian Land Bank Reform Division, Syafran Zamzami, said that to achieve the target, the Land Bank would work with related parties, ranging from the Ministry of ATR/BPN and local governments (Pemda).
"It needs support from the Ministry of ATR/BPN, regional governments, to ensure that the land is indeed used by the Land Bank, the ease of procedures for determination," he said.
Later, these lands will be allocated for various purposes, ranging from agrarian reform, food security, housing, industry to general and social.
