JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) held a meeting with the Ministry of Public Works (PU) today.
The meeting was held to encourage the implementation of the Integrated Standard Price Assumption Assessment Information System application or also called SIPASTI in the scope of local governments (local governments).
"We from the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) have indeed encouraged integration between SIPASTI which has been implemented by friends in the Ministry of PU. We will try to replicate it later in the Regional Government. So, we will integrate the SIPASTI application with the SPD (Surat Penyediaan Dana)," said Deputy KPK Prevention and Monitoring Aminuddin at the Ministry of PU's office, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 7.
According to him, so far the handling of corruption that has been carried out by the KPK is related to the procurement process for goods/services, especially in the construction sector.
In fact, said Aminuddin, his party found that the construction planning itself was designed to be corrupted by a number of elites.
Therefore, he continued, the KPK wants to encourage the integration of the SIPASTI digital application that has been implemented by the Ministry of PU to be implemented in the local government.
"Well, we see that the PU Ministry has a fairly good instrument or tool called SIPASTI. The point is that when friends in the local government will have procurement of construction goods/services, later the components, the formula, including prices of all kinds can refer to SIPASTI which has been implemented by PU," he said.
Aminuddin assessed that SIPASTI is one of the reliable digital services to prevent corruption practices in the procurement of goods/services in the construction sector.
"We are confident that because PU is an Indonesian construction supervisor and we have analyzed it, it is a temporary system that is economical and we can prevent corruption in the construction sector," he said.
The plan is for the launch of the integration between the SIPASTI and SPD applications to be carried out in August.
Hopefully, the regional governments can make construction planning more transparent.
"So, hopefully in August 2026 we will launch the integration of SPD and SIPASTI. So, hopefully after this is integrated, friends in the local government in preparing the planning, preparing the cost (cost) for construction will be more transparent," said Aminuddin.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the Ministry of PU, Apri Artoto, hopes that the integration of digital services carried out by the KPK together with the Ministry of PU can be one of the efforts to prevent corruption in the scope of local government.
"We will apply this in the local government which is planned to have a launching process in August. And of course SIPASTI is one of the improvements in governance at the local government level," he explained.
