JAKARTA - PT Kawan Selaras Sejahtera (KSS) highlighted a number of technical aspects in the trial related to the preparation of the Survey Investigation and Design (SID) documents of the port project, including the administrative procedure of letters from the Ministry of Transportation which is one of the main topics of discussion in the case.
President Director of PT KSS, Rudi Urip Santosa Basuki said, the hearing which took place today presented technical witnesses from the consultant party that compiled the SID.
During the trial, the panel and the parties explored various aspects related to the process of preparing the document.
"Today's trial presents one of the technical witnesses for the preparation of the SID. The consultant compiler has been summoned and has answered various questions related to the pattern of document preparation and the technical guidelines used," said Rudi.
According to him, besides discussing the technical aspects of the preparation of the SID, the trial also invited experts in State Administration (TUN) to provide views on administrative aspects in communication between the Ministry of Transportation and PT KSS.
Rudi explained that there was a letter that was said to be addressed to PT KSS, but the company admitted that it had never received the document directly.
The letter, he continued, was said to have been sent to the consultants involved in the preparation of the project documents.
"We ask for an explanation from the State Administrative Expert regarding whether such a procedure can be carried out or not, because PT KSS feels that it has never received the letter directly," he said.
He added that the expert's statement was considered important to provide an understanding of the administration's administrative management and the mechanism for delivering official documents to the parties concerned.
After the break in the trial, the agenda continued with the examination of technical expert witnesses from the PT KSS.
The witness was asked about the process of preparing engineering and design documents which are part of the project which is being disputed.
The trial will continue to delve into technical and administrative aspects that form the basis for the preparation of the project documents.
