DSI Becomes Single Mediator for the Export of Natural Resources and Energy, the Government Targets Export Value Leakage

JAKARTA - The government has started implementing a new natural resource (SDA) export management system. Through Danantara Sumber Daya Indonesia (DSI), the country will act as the sole intermediary for the export of natural resources for the period from June to December 31, 2026.

Head of the Inter-Agency Management Agency, Donny Oskaria, said the main task of the DSI is to ensure that there is no practice of under invoicing and transfer pricing in the export of Indonesian natural resources.

Under invoicing is reporting export values lower than the actual value. As for transfer pricing is the transfer of profits through intra-group transactions.

"This DSI will operate as a single intermediary. Our task is to ensure that there is no under invoicing and transfer pricing in the export of natural resources," said Donny at the DPR building, Monday, June 8.

According to Donny, the implementation of the policy will be carried out transparently, accountable, and accountable.

He emphasized that the export contracts that the company already has will continue to run normally, as long as they do not contain under invoicing and transfer pricing practices.

"All contracts are running normally," he said.

Donny said Danantara was also developing a digital system to ensure all land and property transactions were carried out fairly and transparently.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the coordination meeting between the DPR and the government discussed accelerating economic growth, export governance by DSI, and the governance of the ESDM sector.
