JAKARTA - The momentum of Eid al-Adha this year is used by INDODAX to share happiness again with the community in disaster-affected areas in Aceh. Through the CSR program titled "INDODAX For Indonesia: Kurban Pelosok Negeri", INDODAX together with AyoBantu and Volunteer School distributes sacrificial animals to a number of areas that have limited access to distribution of sacrifices.
A total of 15 sacrificial animals consisting of 5 cows and 10 goats were distributed to five points in Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Timur Regencies. This program reaches at least 584 beneficiary families in areas that were previously affected by disasters and have limited access to assistance.
Chief Marketing Officer of INDODAX, Aloysia Dian, said that this program is part of the company's efforts to continue to bring real social concerns to people in need, especially in Aceh.
"We hope that this program can be one of the points of happiness for the beneficiaries. More than that, we want to show that our brothers in the disaster-affected areas in Aceh remain an inseparable part of us. Hopefully this small step can continue and bring benefits to more people," said Aloysia, in a statement, Thursday, July 23.
This program is part of the sustainable initiative "INDODAX For Indonesia" which has previously also actively distributing social assistance to various disaster-affected areas in Indonesia. In addition to presenting the spirit of sharing at the Iduladha moment, this program is also in line with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the Zero Hunger point or eliminating hunger and achieving food security for people in need.
The distribution locations include Alur Tani 1 and Rongoh in Tamiang Hulu District, Blang Kandis in Bandar Pusaka District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, as well as Alue Rincong in Pante Bidari District and Batu Sumbang in Simpang Jernih District, East Aceh Regency.
"For us, the momentum of Eid al-Adha is not only about sharing sacrificial animals, but should be about bringing a sense of togetherness and concern. We hope that this program can help people in need while strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and social solidarity," continued Aloysia.
Through this program, INDODAX hopes that this initiative can continue to bring happiness at the Iduladha holiday, as well as provide real and sustainable social benefits, as well as strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation and concern for the community in various parts of Indonesia.
