Acting Director General of Manpower Training and Employment Opportunities (Binapenta and PKK) of the Ministry of Manpower, Estiarty Haryani, said the TKM Program for Beginners was designed to help people build productive and sustainable self-employment.

He explained that the registration for the 2026 TKM Starter Assistance was open until May 17, 2026 through the SIAPkerja and Bizhub platforms. People who meet the requirements are urged to immediately complete the documents and register online.

The requirements for recipients of assistance include Indonesian citizens (WNI) who reside in Indonesia, are at least 18 years old and a maximum of 64 years old, and have an ID card or e-ID card. In one Family Card (KK), assistance can only be received by one family member. In addition, the applicant is not currently studying at the equivalent of SMA/SMK or equivalent, not a State Civil Apparatus (ASN), TNI, Polri member, or ASN pensioner, and is not currently bound by a work relationship with either the government or the private sector.
