PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN) again made international achievements by winning the Silver Stevie Winner at the 2026 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards for the Award for Innovation in Consumer Events category which was received on Friday, April 17 at The Venetian Macao, China. This award was given for the innovation of the Jargas Nusantara 2025 Energy Education Program which was judged to have successfully brought a new approach in increasing customer engagement.

The Asia Pacific Stevie Awards are prestigious business competitions that are followed by various companies from the Asia-Pacific region, and provide appreciation for innovation in the fields of management, communication, and customer experience.

Taman Jargas Nusantara 2025 is held for four days (29 May - 1 June 2025) at Bintaro Jaya Xchange Mall. This program is PGN's strategy in expanding the use of household gas networks (jargas) while increasing public understanding of the benefits of clean energy through an educational and interactive approach.

PGN Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman said that this award was a validation of the transformation of the company's communication approach to the community.

"The 2026 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards is an international appreciation for our innovation in packaging energy education into a fun, educational and interactive family experience in public open spaces. PGN continues to strive to bring a closer and impactful approach in improving clean energy literacy," he said.

Unlike conventional socialization which is one-way, Taman Jargas Nusantara presents a direct experience of using natural gas in daily life. In the kids corner area, children are introduced to the concept of clean energy through a giant pipe playground, a replica of a jargas house, and various educational games. Meanwhile, adult visitors can watch cooking demonstrations in a professional gas-based kitchen complete with a gas pipe installation and a Gaslink beyond pipeline system.

This program managed to attract more than 16,000 visitors, or about 20 percent of the average daily traffic of the shopping center in the same period. In terms of digital communication, the Jargas Nusantara Park campaign recorded more than 5.4 million impressions, 53,000 digital interactions, and was supported by more than 200 mass media reports.

The presence of PGN's active customers from the F&B sector as tenants also strengthens the credibility of the jargas service and provides tangible evidence of the utilization of natural gas in business operations. In addition to being a means of public education, this activity is also focused on strengthening relations with housing developers and opening opportunities for the public to register as jargas customers directly at the event location.

According to Fajriyah, this innovation is in line with PGN's commitment to supporting the national energy transition through increased adoption of cleaner and more efficient energy in the household sector.

"The achievement of the Silver Winner at the 2026 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards motivates us to continue to innovate in presenting programs that have an impact, expanding the use of natural gas, and bringing clean energy to the community," he concluded.
