Inabuyer Expo 2026 Ready to Be Held May 5-7, Transaction Value Targeted to Increase by 10 Percent

JAKARTA - The Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 will be held again on May 5-7, 2026. This is the fourth Inabuyer event after it was successfully held on July 23-25, 2025.

Deputy Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Helvi Moraza said that the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 aims to encourage MSMEs to enter the government goods and services procurement ecosystem.

This is in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 2 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of Increased Use of Domestic Products (PDN) and UMKM-Cooperative Products.

"(Also included) in the supply chain of SOEs and large businesses and expanding market reach, improving product quality, competitiveness and business capacity," said Helvi in a press conference & socialization of the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 at the Smesco Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, April 15.

Moreover, Helvi said, based on existing data, currently only about 4.1 percent of domestic MSMEs are able to enter the global supply chain. Indonesia is said to be far behind neighboring countries, such as Vietnam at 20 percent and Malaysia at 46.2 percent.

"On the other hand, based on the latest World Bank data, Indonesia's ease of doing business is still stagnant at 73 out of 190 countries. This shows that there is still much room for improvement in regulations and the business climate," he said.

Therefore, Helvi assessed that the implementation of the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 is expected to be a momentum to revive local products and encourage partnerships between SMEs across sectors.

"This collaboration is expected to strengthen the supply chain MSMEs and the use of domestic products, so as to increase economic equality, welfare and national competitiveness through the Inabuyer event," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Strategy and Policy Development of the Government Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) Muhammad Aris Supriyanto said that Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 can encourage MSMEs to connect with market opportunities, including the government procurement market, which is worth Rp. 814 trillion based on data from the General Information System of Procurement in 2026.

Government spending is specifically to support President Prabowo Subianto's priority programs, such as Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Three Million Houses to People's Schools (SR).

"And also more than Rp. 356 trillion from the government's shopping market is intended for MSMEs. Of course, a great opportunity for MSMEs, if Inabuyer's goal is to bring suppliers and buyers together, yes," he explained.

Meanwhile, the General Chair of the Indonesian Association of Retailers and Shopping Center Tenants (Hippindo) Budihardjo Iduansjah targets that the transaction value from the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 activity can increase by around 5-10 percent from the previous year.

"Yes (Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 transaction), right, Rp2.1 (trillion), yesterday I discussed that it might increase by 5-10 percent," he said.

He hopes that the Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2026 can be a platform to bring more domestic manufacturers, including MSMEs, to be part of the ecosystem.

"This means that we are not only talking about bringing buyers and sellers together, but building a strong domestic trade ecosystem," he concluded.

Previously, Inabuyer B2B2G Expo 2025 managed to record a potential cooperation of IDR 1.58 trillion with a realization of transactions of more than IDR 2.5 trillion.
