JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is projected to rise again in today's trading, Friday, April 10. Phintraco Sekuritas in its research said the JCI will move in the range of resistance 7,400, pivot 7,300, and support 7,200.

Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the JCI closed yesterday with a gain of 0.39 percent to the level of 7,307.59 after previously moving mixed throughout the trading.

Technically, Phintraco Sekuritas believes that today's JCI is still above the MA20 and the formation of a positive MACD histogram is still continuing.

"Thus, today's JCI is expected to move to strengthen the test level of 7,350," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.

Phintraco Sekuritas added that the World Bank lowered its economic growth projection for Indonesia to 4.7 percent this year from the previous projection of 4.8 percent, and lower than the government's target in the 2026 State Budget of 5.4 percent.

"This downward projection is in line with the trend of slowing economic growth in the East Asia and Pacific region outside China, which is projected to reach 4.1 percent from the previous projection of 4.4 percent," added Phintraco Securities.

Meanwhile, Phintraco Sekuritas said that domestic motorcycle sales fell 17.1 percent YoY in March 2026 from an increase of 1 percent YoY in February 2026. Sales in March 2026 were the lowest level in the last 11 months in April 2025.

"This marks the first annual decline in motorcycle sales since July 2025, which is suspected to be due to people shifting consumption during Ramadan and before Eid al-Fitr," said Phintraco Sekuritas.

This, continued Phintraco Sekuritas, can be seen from the monthly data, sales in March fell 23.6 percent MoM from an increase of 1.7 percent in February. However, for the first quarter of 2026, motorcycle sales grew 4.1 percent YoY. Furthermore, investors are looking forward to consumer confidence data and car sales released today.

Phintraco Sekuritas recommends five stocks today, namely EMTK, CUAN, CTRA, ISAT and BRPT.
