JAKARTA - Manulife Wealth & Asset Management today announced that it has completed the previously announced transaction, to acquire PT Schroder Investment Management Indonesia (Schroders Indonesia) through PT Manulife Aset Manajemen Indonesia (MAMI), after all closing conditions were met, including obtaining approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK).
The completion of this transaction marks the start of a structured integration process between MAMI and Schroders Indonesia. During the integration period, Manulife Wealth & Asset Management will operate in Indonesia through MAMI and Scrhoders Indonesia in parallel, maintaining their respective structures while implementing the merger process gradually.
Customers, partners, and employees will receive periodic notifications regarding branding, product changes, and operational improvements to ensure clarity and continuity throughout the transition process.
