Contraflow Toll Japek, Drivers from Bandung Asked to Pass through Functional Toll Japek II South

JAKARTA - Road users from Bandung to Jakarta are advised to use the Japek II South functional toll road.

The appeal followed the implementation of the addition of a contraflow lane on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek) in the direction of Cikampek during the Lebaran 2026 homecoming rush.

At the discretion of the police, the Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) Regional Division together with PT Jasamarga Japek Selatan began operating the South Japek II functional lane on Thursday, March 19, starting at 09.55 WIB.

The operation of the lane was carried out to anticipate traffic congestion due to the addition of a contraflow lane. As a result, only one lane is left for vehicles heading towards Jakarta.

Therefore, road users from Bandung or Rancaekek who want to go to the Jabodetabek area are advised to switch to the Japek II South functional line as an alternative route.

The South Japek II functional line can be accessed through the Sadang access at KM 77 of the Cipularang Toll Road towards Jakarta.

From this point, road users can continue their journey to the Bojongmangu Toll Gate (GT).

Furthermore, the journey can be continued through the Deltamas area before returning to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road through GT Cibatu.

Road users who cross the lane are not charged additional fees. Drivers only need to pay the Cipularang Toll rate until Sadang access.

Because it is still functional, road users are urged to remain cautious while passing. Vehicle speed is limited to a maximum of 40 km per hour, and drivers are asked to maintain a safe distance and comply with traffic signs.

In addition, road users are also asked to follow the instructions of officers in the field and ensure that the balance of the electronic card is sufficient to support the smooth running of the journey.
