KEK Industropolis Batang is part of the BUMN Danareksa Holding which continues to bring innovation to the region by combining industrial activities, public spaces, and destinations that add value to the community. In this year's homecoming momentum, the area introduced the Industropolis Coastal Rest Area, a rest point with a sea panorama that presents a different resting experience in the middle of the Trans Java Toll road.

Located at the KIT Batang Toll Exit KM 371+800, the Industropolis Coastal Rest Area is an alternative place to stop for travelers who pass through the Trans Java strategic route. Unlike other rest areas, this area presents an open sea view that provides a fresh atmosphere for travelers to rest for a while before continuing their journey.

The Industropolis Coastal Rest Area is open to the public from March 14-23, 2026 with various supporting facilities, ranging from a large parking area, toilets, family rest areas, Batang UMKM culinary, to sea panorama spots. In addition, there is a mosque that can accommodate up to 2,400 worshipers with an area of about 200 square meters, so that travelers can rest and worship comfortably.

Director of Marketing and Development of KEK Industropolis Batang, Indri Septa Respati, said that the presence of this rest area is a form of service to the region to the wider community, especially for travelers who pass through the Trans Java Toll Road.

"We want this homecoming momentum to be an opportunity for the community to get to know Industropolis Batang more closely. This area is not only developing as an industrial center, but we are also building it as a new integrated city in Batang. The presence of this rest area is a form of our service so that travelers can rest comfortably while enjoying a different atmosphere," said Indri.

Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Jasamarga Semarang Batang (JSB), Nasrullah, said that the presence of the Industropolis Coastal Rest Area provided an alternative place to stop for toll road users who pass through the section.

"This Coastal Rest Area is very interesting because it has a beautiful sea view. We hope that toll road users can stop here for a while, enjoy the pleasant atmosphere, so that they can continue their journey more calmly and safely," he said.

The Regent of Batang M. Faiz Kurniawan added that the presence of industrial areas and toll infrastructure has encouraged regional economic growth, which is now around 7.79 percent.

"The presence of industrial areas and toll roads is a trigger for the economic growth of Batang and opens up employment opportunities for the community. This Industropolis Coastal Rest Area is a new face of Batang for passers-by on the toll road," he explained.

For travelers, the experience of stopping at this place also gives a special impression. Santoso, a traveler from Jakarta who is heading to Solo, admitted that he was impressed by the atmosphere offered.

"This is my first time stopping by here. At first I thought this was just a regular industrial area, it turns out there is a rest area with a very beautiful sea view. It feels so fresh after a long journey. The place is comfortable, so the journey feels more enjoyable," he said.

With the sea panorama stretching on the north coast of Batang, the Industropolis Coastal Rest Area is expected to be a choice of place for travelers to rest for a while, before continuing their journey to their hometowns.
