JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) has temporarily stopped the use of sea space in the coastal waters of Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi (Sulteng).

The temporary suspension of activities against the three business actors is another action by the Coastal and Small Islands Management (PWP3K) which is necessary to stop the violations.
Their activities are suspected of violating Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Regulation of the Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Cipta Kerja into Law jo Government Regulation (PP) Number 21 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Spatial Planning.
Furthermore, an administrative sanction will be imposed based on the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Regulation Number 31 of 2021 concerning the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions in the Marine and Fisheries Sector.
