Director General of Railways Allan Tandiono said the implementation of MOTIS was in line with the government's strategy in reducing the number of traffic accidents, especially those involving motorcycles.

Allan explained that the registration for MOTIS Lebaran 2026 was opened from March 1 to 29, 2026. The transportation period is set from March 13 to 19, 2026 for the homecoming flow and March 24 to 30, 2026 for the return flow.
