JAKARTA - PT Great Eastern General Insurance Indonesia (GEGI) has completed the series of Agency Kickoff and Open Day 2026 Roadshow which was held from January 21 to February 13, 2026.

This annual activity is held in five cities, namely Jakarta, Medan, Semarang, Surabaya, and Bali.

The roadshow is a platform for management to convey policy directions, industry trends, market updates, and company business strategies to agents.

GEGI's Marketing Director Linggawati Tok emphasized that agents are a crucial element in the company's business structure and, agents not only serve as the main distribution channel, but also strategic partners in driving sustainable business growth.

He added that the Agency Kickoff and Open Day activities were designed to increase motivation, strengthen confidence, and build agents' optimism in facing the 2026 business challenges.

In terms of financial performance in 2025, GEGI recorded assets of IDR 2.5 trillion and Gross Written Premium (GWP) grew 12.8 percent year on year (yoy) to IDR 978 billion.

"These figures reflect a solid level of capital," Linggawati said in a statement, Wednesday, February 25.

He added that throughout 2025, the agency's contribution to the Gross Written Premium (GWP) was recorded at 23 percent of the total Rp978 billion booked by the company.

According to him, this figure reflects the significant role of the agency channel in supporting the growth of the company's premiums.
