JAKARTA - Upbit Indonesia confirms its commitment to increasing crypto literacy and Web3 technology in the country through the "Web3 on Campus" education program. Together with IDNFT, Upbit Indonesia has completed a series of educational roadshows in four cities, reaching around 1,000 participants consisting of students and technology communities.

This program was held at FEBI UIN Mataram, FTI UNU Yogyakarta, the Faculty of Information Systems at State University of Malang, and the Faculty of Engineering at Sam Ratulangi University Manado. Through this activity, Upbit Indonesia invited industry practitioners to share insights on career opportunities in the fields of Web3, blockchain, and crypto, as well as introducing the importance of collaboration in the decentralized technology ecosystem.

"We see a very high enthusiasm from students towards Web3 technology. This shows that Indonesia's young generation has great potential to become a driving force for global digital innovation," said Resna Raniadi, CEO of Upbit Indonesia.

"Through this literacy initiative, Upbit wants to ensure that understanding of crypto is not limited to investment and technology, but also includes knowledge of security and career opportunities in the future," he added.

Encouraging a Sustainable Web3 Ecosystem

This roadshow is part of Upbit Indonesia's efforts to build an inclusive and sustainable Web3 ecosystem foundation. The materials presented include an introduction to blockchain, digital asset security, career opportunities in the Web3 industry, to the importance of cross-community collaboration in developing innovations.

In addition to strengthening technology literacy, this program also aims to encourage campuses as centers for developing digital talent. By bridging the academic and industrial worlds, Upbit Indonesia hopes to accelerate the birth of local innovators and talents who are able to compete globally.

Indonesia is heading to the Web3 Innovation Center

Through a series of educational activities in Q1 2026, Upbit Indonesia targets the creation of a wider, inclusive, and structured Web3 learning ecosystem. This initiative is part of the company's long-term commitment to encourage Indonesia to become one of the centers of Web3 innovation in the Southeast Asian region.

"Education is the main foundation in building a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem. Through the Web3 on Campus initiative, we want to equip young Indonesians with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain and digital assets, so that they are not only users, but also innovators who are able to create technology-based solutions. We believe that, with collaboration between industry, academia, and the community, Indonesia has a great opportunity to become a Web3 innovation center in the Southeast Asian region," said Resna.

Going forward, Upbit Indonesia will continue and expand its crypto literacy program to more campuses and cities, as well as expand collaboration with communities, educational institutions, and industry players to accelerate the adoption of blockchain technology responsibly and in accordance with applicable regulatory frameworks.
