JAKARTA - Perum Bulog President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani ensures that the supply of rice during the Ramadan fast until Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah/2026 Masehi is safe with a stock of 3.2 million tons.
Rizal said that nationally, the stock of rice in Bulog warehouses currently reached around 3.2 million tons, which the stock continued to increase through the rice farmer rice absorption program in the country.
"As for rice, thank God there are still 3.2 million tons. In fact, now (the stock) is increasing, as of today it has increased by about 100,000 tons," said Rizal in Jakarta, Saturday, February 21, quoted by Antara.
He said that in the past month in the period of January, the additional government rice reserve stock (CBP) was recorded at around 100,000 tons. The availability is considered adequate to meet the needs of the community throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026.
"Alhamdulillah this is thanks to the cooperation of all farmers and friends in the field to absorb the farmers' grains, which we process into rice," said Rizal.
In addition to rice, Bulog also ensures that the distribution of Minyakita runs according to the latest government regulations regarding the Domestic Market Obligation (DMO) scheme of 35 percent. Distribution is now carried out directly by the Food SOEs, including Bulog without going through distributors, so that distribution is more controlled and efficient.
Minyakita is distributed directly from the Bulog warehouse to the markets of the Market and Basic Needs Monitoring System (SP2KP) at a price of Rp. 14,500 per liter from the warehouse and sold to the public according to the HET of Rp. 15,700 per liter.
"This scheme provides a reasonable margin for retailers while keeping prices stable at the consumer level," added Rizal.
