Pertamina Adds 1.1 Million 3 Kg Elpiji Tanks to Stock Jateng-DIY

YOGYAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga has distributed an additional 1.1 million 3 kilogram (kg) LPG cylinders to Central Java and Yogyakarta Special Region to meet the needs of the community ahead of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah.

The Central Java Area Manager for Communication, Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Taufiq Kurniawan said that the additional supply was distributed starting on February 17, 2026.

"We ensure that this additional optional can maintain the reliability of stocks in the field, especially at the base level, so that people do not have to worry about the availability of 3 kg LPG during Ramadan," said Taufiq in a statement in Yogyakarta, Antara, Monday, February 16.

Of the total addition, said Taufiq, as many as 144 thousand tubes were allocated for the DIY region, while more than 1 million tubes were distributed to the Central Java region.

The amount is equivalent to 75 percent more than the normal daily distribution.

This step, according to Taufiq, is part of Pertamina's efforts to maintain energy supply stability, as well as supporting inflation control and maintaining people's purchasing power during Ramadan.

In support of the LPG subsidy program run by the government, he appealed to people who are able to use non-subsidized LPG so that the distribution of subsidies remains targeted.

Pertamina provides Bright Gas non-subsidized LPG products in two size variants, namely Bright Gas 5.5 kg and 12 kg.

Taufiq also appealed to the public to buy 3 kg LPG at official Pertamina bases because the stock is guaranteed and the price is in accordance with government regulations, namely the cheapest at the highest retail price (HET) of Rp. 18 thousand.

"Moreover, now the nearest base location can be accessed easily through subsiditepatlpg.mypertamina.id," said Taufiq.
