The PU Ministry Receives a Budget of IDR 118.50 Trillion in 2026, This is the Project List

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) has received a ceiling of Rp. 118.50 trillion for the 2026 Fiscal Year (FY).

Minister PU Dody Hanggodo explained that the acquisition of the figure was the result of the addition of the initial indicative ceiling which was only IDR 70.86 trillion. The budget was then increased by IDR 47.64 trillion which was approved in July 2025 and finalized through the DIPA issued in December 2025.

"The DIPA ceiling of the Ministry of PU for the 2026 Fiscal Year will be issued on December 1, 2025 in the amount of Rp. 118.50 trillion, then we can convey that the DIPA ceiling has been revised to DIPA Revision 1," said Dody in a Working Meeting with Commission V of the DPR at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, February 4.

Dody detailed that in the Revised DIPA 1 there was a shift in the budget into a special Output Detail (RO) worth Rp6.85 trillion.

The special RO allocation is intended to meet the budget needs of priority activities and new instructions from the President throughout 2026.

The details of the special RO spending consist of goods spending worth Rp1.35 trillion and capital expenditure of Rp5.5 trillion.

In total, the PU Ministry's budget was allocated to four main infrastructure areas and other supporting units.

Meanwhile, overall, a budget of Rp. 118.5 trillion was allocated to support the development of infrastructure in various directorates general (Ditjen).

In detail, the Water Resources (SDA) sector received a ceiling of Rp34.74 trillion, which was used to build an irrigation network covering 15,905 hectares (ha) and rehabilitate 86,108 ha of irrigation.

In addition, there are 72-kilometer (km) flood control projects, 7 km of coastal safety, and 200 liters per second of raw water supply and the construction of boreholes in 800 points.

Next, the connectivity sector under the auspices of the Directorate General of Road Construction received the largest allocation, reaching Rp. 45.62 trillion.

The budget is used to build a new road along 158 km, capacity improvement and preservation of road improvement of 1,571 km, construction and duplication of bridges 2.2 km to the construction of a toll road along 35.72 km.

Then, the Directorate General of Creative Industry received an allocation of Rp. 12.03 trillion which was focused on providing SPAM with a capacity of 800 liters per second and the construction of 59,489 House Connections (SR).

The program for environmental sanitation of settlements includes wastewater management for 63,200 households and 402 tons per day of sewage.

Furthermore, for the Strategic Infrastructure Directorate General, which received a budget allocation of Rp. 24.11 trillion, including for the rehabilitation of 1,000 religious school units, the construction of 104 units of People's Schools, and the construction of 41 units of elementary and secondary schools.

Other projects include the construction of nine market units, eight sports infrastructure units, as well as health facilities and worship infrastructure.

Finally, supporting units such as SIBB, DJBK and DJPI received Rp2 trillion, which was used for operations, management and financing of infrastructure.

All of these output targets are expected to support national economic growth through strengthening connectivity and providing basic services for the community.
