JAKARTA - Danantara Indonesia formed a national mineral company named Perminas to manage mineral mines whose mining business permit (IUP) was revoked by President Prabowo Subianto.

Danantara's Chief Operating Officer (COO), Dony Oskaria, said that Perminas is a new entity that will be the government's vehicle in managing the transferred mining assets.

Dony explained that the transfer of mine management to Danantara was carried out by considering Danantara's role as a government-owned business manager.

Furthermore, Dony emphasized that Perminas was not under the mining BUMN holding MIND ID, but rather stood as a separate company under Danantara.

Regarding coordination with the Astra Group as the parent company of Agincourt Resources, Dony said that it was not the authority of Danantara.
