Citilink continues to strengthen the optimization of its flight network by providing daily flight services on the Jakarta-Tanjung Pinang (PP) route.
Starting February 1, 2026, Citilink will operate the route seven times a week.
The frequency of flights has increased from four times per week.
The addition is part of Citilink's commitment to providing air connectivity that is increasingly reliable and responsive to the mobility needs of the community, especially for the Tanjung Pinang area and its surroundings.
Citilink President Director Darsito Hendroseputro said the increase in flight frequency was in line with the steps to strengthen the Garuda Indonesia Group network, which was also supported by the increase in the number of Citilink fleets that were back in operation through the fleet reactivation program.
"This frequency addition is expected to provide more travel alternatives for the people of Tanjung Pinang and its surroundings, as well as expanding access to connectivity to other cities through Jakarta as the main hub for national flights," said Darsito in an official statement, Tuesday, January 27.
Darsito said, on the Jakarta-Tanjung Pinang (PP) route, Citilink will operate an Airbus A320 fleet with a capacity of 180 passenger seats.
Flights from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are scheduled to depart at 13.25 WIB and arrive at Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport at 15.00 WIB with flight number QG 974.
"Meanwhile, flights from Tanjung Pinang to Jakarta are scheduled to depart at 15.30 WIB and arrive at 17.10 WIB with flight number QG 975," he explained.
Citilink emphasized its commitment to maintaining consistency in operational performance by prioritizing safety, security, and flight comfort.
In the future, continued Darsito, all flight networks and frequencies will continue to be evaluated periodically to ensure alignment between fleet availability and market demand dynamics.
"Our hope is that Citilink, as part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, can continue to provide optimal air connectivity options for the community," concluded Darsito.
