Rosan Reveals the Realization of Investment in 2025 Reaches IDR 1,937 Trillion, Exceeding the Government's Target

JAKARTA - Minister of Investment and Industrialization/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani revealed data on Indonesia's investment achievements throughout 2025. He said that the realization of national investment reached IDR 1,937 trillion, the figure managed to exceed the government's target.

"Last year we were actually targeting Rp1,905 trillion, thank God we reached Rp1,937 trillion from the realization of investments that have been given in Indonesia," said Rosan, in Jakarta, Wednesday, January 14.

Investment realization in 2025 increased by Rp222.8 trillion or recorded a growth of 12.9 percent from the realization of Rp1,714.2 trillion in the previous year.

Based on BKPM data, investment continues to move up from quarter to quarter throughout 2025. The details are quarter I of Rp465.2 trillion; quarter II of Rp477.7 trillion and quarter III: Rp491.4 trillion. Meanwhile, the realization of quarter IV is estimated to be in the range of Rp502.7 trillion.

Rosan emphasized that the achievement of investment throughout the year is not only reflected in the figures, but also benefits to the labor market and the national economy.

"And that has an impact, to the field of work, 2.7 million people. And that makes, what I said, 28 to 29 percent contribution from growth (economy)," said Rosan.

On the other hand, the CEO of Danantara Indonesia also emphasized the importance of real investment that has a multiplier effect. Rosan explained that Danantara carries out a balanced investment strategy through various programs, both at home and abroad, with a focus on sustainability and strengthening economic independence.

"With Danantara, we have a number of investment programs, both domestically and abroad, which are oriented towards sustainability and reducing import dependence, both in the energy and other sectors," he said.
