Meanwhile, Makassar Port was recorded as the busiest departure port with 382,982 passengers, followed by Ambon with 290,242 passengers, Bau-Bau with 263,297 passengers, Surabaya with 226,257 passengers, and Tanjung Priok with 207,631 passengers.
For the arrival port, Makassar also occupies the top position with 385,457 passengers, followed by Ambon with 284,174 passengers, Bau-Bau with 260,539 passengers, Surabaya with 252,311 passengers, and Tanjung Priok with 214,857 passengers.
For information, Pelni currently operates 25 passenger ships serving 483 routes and stops at 75 ports throughout Indonesia.
