This is followed by I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali Airport with 1.18 million passengers, Juanda Surabaya Airport with 703 thousand passengers, Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar Airport with 493 thousand passengers, and Kualanamu Deli Serdang Airport with 380 thousand passengers.
"Careful preparation and close collaboration among stakeholders are the key to maintaining security and safety while providing an unforgettable travel experience during this departure flow," he explained.
According to him, the highest passenger movement surge ahead of Christmas Day occurred on December 24, 2025 with a total of around 543 thousand passengers. Meanwhile, the peak of passenger flow ahead of the new year was recorded on December 28, 2025 with a total of 531,140 passengers.
In addition, the airline also operates additional flights to anticipate high demand, with a total of 1,725 extra flights during the period.
Pahlevi added that the utilization rate of time slots at all airports was very high during the Nataru transportation period.
"The cumulative utilization of time slots at all airports has reached almost 90%. Time slots are one of the production tools, and high utilization indicates that airport operations are running very optimally during the peak season at the end of this year," he said.
Entering the beginning of 2026, InJourney Airports has prepared various steps to face the return flow of aircraft passengers. The peak of the return flow is projected to occur on January 3 and 4, 2026.
