JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) ensures that the supply of Fuel Oil (BBM) to disaster-affected areas in Bener Meriah Regency is maintained.
Meanwhile, on December 27, 2025, Pertamina will send seven tank cars from the Blang Rakal Tank Car Storage Hub and arrive gradually at four gas stations in Bener Meriah Regency.
The distribution was carried out through land routes with the escort of local officials, namely Patwal APH using two units of trail motorcycles from Koramil Pintu Rime Gayo, in the midst of infrastructure conditions that have not fully recovered after the disaster.
The distribution journey took about four hours from the Blang Rakal Storage Hub and in the distribution, Pertamina distributed 48 kiloliters of Pertalite and 8 kiloliters of Biosolar.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional North Sumatra (Sumbagut), Fahrougi Andriani Sumampouw said that Pertamina continues to optimize various alternative routes to ensure the smooth distribution of energy to disaster-affected areas.
"Alhamdulillah, thanks to the collaboration and support of various parties, the distribution of fuel to Bener Meriah can be carried out safely and smoothly. The supply that is distributed is directly distributed to four gas stations to meet the needs of the community," said Fahrougi in his statement, Sunday, December 28.
The four SPBU recipients of the supply include SPBU 13.245409 on Jalan Bandara Rembele, Wih Pesam Village; SPBU 14.245105 on Jalan Raya Takengon-Bireuen KM 75; SPBU 14.245428 on Jalan Raya Bireuen-Takengon KM 10; and SPBU 14.245464 in Makmur Sentosa Village, Bandar District.
Fahrougi also explained that distribution using the Storage Hub scheme, which is a method of transferring fuel from 16 KL capacity tank cars originating from the Lhokseumawe Pertamina Integrated Terminal and Krueng Raya Fuel Terminal to 8 KL capacity tank cars so that they can reach limited land routes.
He added that the process of transferring the load was carried out with a wind-powered diaphragm pump from the compressor, while still prioritizing the aspect of work safety.
Previously, fuel supplies to the Bener Meriah and Takengon areas were channeled through the air using Hercules, Cessna, and Air Tractor aircraft.
This step was taken because the area experienced quite severe damage to the road infrastructure due to flooding and landslides in Aceh.
Vice President of Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron, emphasized that Pertamina continues to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure that energy distribution continues.
"In the midst of an emergency, Pertamina emphasizes its commitment to maintaining energy supply resilience and supporting community activities and public services in disaster-affected areas in Aceh. This effort is in line with the commitment of the Pertamina Christmas and New Year Task Force to serve the community wholeheartedly," said Baron.
Baron said that on December 28, 2025, Pertamina will resume distributing fuel to the Takengon area, Central Aceh Regency.
He added that seven units of 8 KL capacity tanker cars were on alert to distribute 40 kiloliters of Pertalite and 16 kiloliters of Biosolar to seven gas stations to maintain the availability of public energy.
