Jasa Marga Prepares 172 SPKLU at Rest Areas for Smooth Nataru Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has increased the number of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in toll rest areas managed to support the smooth mobility of the community during the long Christmas and New Year holidays (Nataru 2025/2026).

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono ensured that as many as 172 SPKLU had been prepared at that time.

"So, now we have confirmed (there are) 172 points, much more than before," said Rivan when met by reporters after the Integrated Apel of Jasa Marga Operational Alert for Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 at TMII, Jakarta, Monday, December 15.

Rivan ensured that the number of SPKLU will be added more at each managed rest area. Until today, he continued, there are at least six SPKLU in almost all toll rest areas of Jasa Marga.

"In the past, there were only two or three SPKLU and today we make sure that almost every rest area (there is SPKLU) has about six, which means it is very sufficient and then also make sure with fast charging," he said.

He hopes that there will be new SPKLU additions with adequate speed again next year. Moreover, according to Rivan, there are a number of points of the road that need more SPKLU, such as at the KM 57 rest area of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road (Japek), the KM 208 rest area of the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road (Palikanci) and so on.

"Maybe next year we will continue to add, yes. We also want this SPKLU not only to be six," said Rivan.

"But, we have more than that capacity, seeing from the kilometers that are certainly needed by the community, especially if you take KM 57, then 208 and so on," he added.
