10-20 Percent Tariff Discount Applies To 26 Toll Roads, Here's The List

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works (PU) announced a 10-20 percent discount or toll rate discount for a number of sections during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays.

Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti said eight Toll Road Business Entities (BUJT) or operators would provide discounts on the tariff on 26 toll roads during the 2025/2026 Nataru holiday. However, the time for the discount is different.

"And the amount of this toll tariff discount ranges from 10 percent to 20 percent, according to the proposal of each BUJT with the tariff discount schedule being applied on 22, 23 and 31 December on 26 toll roads," Diana said in a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V DPR RI regarding Infrastructure and Transportation Readiness in the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, December 8.

Even so, said Diana, there are three toll roads with the application of longer tariff discounts, namely the Manado 'Bitung Toll Road from 22 December 2025 to 10 January 2025, the Krian'LegundiBunder Toll Road on 21 October 2025 to 31 December 2025 and the Bekasi 'Cawang' Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) Toll Road from 13 October 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Based on the material of his presentation, there are 19 toll roads that apply a 20 percent discount, owned by PT Jasa Marga Tbk, PT Hutama Karya and Astra Infra.

Meanwhile, there are six toll roads that provide a discount of only 10 percent and a discount on the Krian 'Bunder Toll Road of 11.11 percent.

The operators who do not provide tariffs of 20 percent are PT Waskita Toll Road, PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada, Indonesia Investment Authority, PT Hutama Marga Waskita and PT Jakarta Tollroad Development.

Diana said the Becakayu Toll Road would only provide a tariff discount of 20 percent at non-housing hours.

In other words, he continued, discounting will be carried out using a dynamic pricing scheme.

"In general, the provisions for this toll tariff discount are applied for the furthest, barrier to barrier rates, using the electronic money payment method. Discounts do not apply if the balance is not sufficient or the origin of the vehicle's destination is not detected," he added.
