JAKARTA - The volume of users of the Farmers Train and Traders operated by KAI Commuter shows an upward trend in the first week since the service opened on December 1, 2025.

The company recorded an average of 121 users per day, an increase of 26 percent compared to the first day of operations which only reached 96 users.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Karina Amanda said, the total number of users during one week of operation reached 844 people.

"Saturday, December 6, 2025, became the day with the highest volume, namely 140 people," he said in an official statement received by VOI, Monday, December 8.

The Farmer's Train Service and Traders are currently operating 14 trips per day and are concurrently with Commuter Line Merak.

Cikeusal Station is the highest departure point with 287 users, followed by Rangkasbitung Station (167 users) and Serang Station (119 users).

According to Karina, increased use shows the potential of this special train as a means of community economic mobility, especially farmers and traders who transport commodities to the market.

The use of trains is generally centered on morning departures and return trips during the day.

To facilitate access, KAI Commuter provides Farmer Cards and Traders that can be obtained through registration at the station counter.

Card owners can book tickets up to D-7 and board earlier, which is two hours before scheduled departure.

KAI Commuter also urges users to comply with safety provisions during travel.

Information on the schedule of Farmers' Trains and Traders is available through the Access by KAI application, official social media @commuterline, and service center 021-121.
