JAKARTA The 'InclusionLand 2025' inclusion Festival held by the National Pelita Inclusion Foundation (YIPB) with Navaswara at ICE BSD, South Tangerang, Sunday, December 7, is not only a space for celebrating International Day of Persons with Disabilities, but also encourages the expansion of the inclusive economic ecosystem at the regional and national levels.
The event, which was attended by more than 3,500 participants, featured a series of social, environmental, and economic empowerment activities, including the inclusive MSME market involving disabled business actors and the creative community.
The Chief Executive of YIPB, Cahaya Manthovani, said that InclusionLand is designed as a sustainable social movement that places economic access for persons with disabilities as an important part of inclusive development.
"The inclusion does not stop on stage. He must be present in the economic system, services, and business opportunities that can really be accessed by all," he said.
One of the main zones, the Circuit Entrepreneurs, presents an inclusive MSME market, culinary areas, recycling education, and circular economic practices. This zone is designed as a marketing space as well as a learning of sustainable business models for disabled business actors.
Through direct interaction with visitors, MSME players with disabilities get promotional opportunities, sales, and mapping market needs. YIPB considers this approach important to expand economic inclusion based on independence.
InclusionLand also includes the element of sustainability through environmental education activities, such as E-waste Setting Game and upcycle activities, in line with the implementation of at least six Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) targets.
The Governor of Banten, Andra Sony, stated that the local government is currently preparing a long-term roadmap for inclusion, including strengthening access to public services, transportation, and disability-friendly education.
"Inclusion is not just a social agenda, but a policy that must be reflected in public infrastructure and services," he said.
The existence of this festival, he said, shows that people with disabilities are ready to take part in economic activities if access to opportunities are opened equally.
As a form of appreciation for the contribution in inclusive development, YIPB provides Anugerah Pelita Bangsa Inclusion to four figures:
Prof. Dr. Ali Muktiyanto, Chancellor of the Open University who expands access to inclusive higher education,
Dr. Fauzi, academic and photographer who strengthens visual creative education,
Rina Jayani, founder of Aluna Montessori who develops educational services for children with special needs,
Princess Ariani, an international singer who brought a disabled representation to the global stage.
This award is considered as a driving force for the education, creative, and MSME sectors to continue to adopt the principle of an inclusive economy.
The 2025 Inclusion Land event is supported by the Banten Provincial Government, three local governments in Tangerang Raya, as well as the presence of various ministers and public officials. This cross-sector presence strengthens collaboration commitments in expanding accessibility and creating economic opportunities for people with disabilities.
YIPB hopes that this festival will become a model of inclusion integration in regional economic development, as well as a catalyst to expand opportunities for entrepreneurship with disabilities in the future.
