Menkop Ferry Calls Kopdes Physical Development Targeted To Be Completed In March-April 2026

Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono said the physical construction of the Red and White Village Cooperative (Kopdes Merah Putih) is targeted to be completed from March to April 2026, as a form of accelerating the strengthening of the people's economy through an integrated modern cooperative network.

"In accordance with the wishes of President Prabowo, March-April, his physical development (Red and White Police Chief) can be completed," Ferry said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 18.

He conveyed that the provision of outlets and supporting facilities has now reached 30,500 land points that are ready to be built, after going through an intensive inventory process every day in all regions.

Land inventory efforts are carried out massively with a target of one thousand points per day, so that the needs of the construction site of the Red and White Kopdes can be met according to the central government's plan and direction.

To strengthen governance, the Ministry of Cooperatives has recruited and trained 7,867 assistant businesses that will be the main assistants in the management and development of cooperatives at the village and sub-district levels.

Each assistant business is prepared to be responsible for accompanying 10 village cooperatives, starting from the preparation of business plans, institutional administration, to ensuring that operations run optimally through the utilization of the management information system.

The presence of the assistants is expected to be a bridge between national policies and the real needs of the village community, so that cooperatives really function as a sustainable community economic driving center.

In addition to the assistant business, 1,104 project management officials (PMO) are placed throughout Indonesia to ensure the program runs transparently, measurably, and according to the management standards set by the central government.

The PMOs are technical liaison with regional offices so that the entire operational process of the Red and White Village Cooperative is under structured supervision, so that it can have a real impact on the community.

Business Assistant (BA) and PMO have now been deployed to villages to accelerate new land mapping, verify development site readiness, and ensure smooth coordination with PT Agrinas as construction implementers.

"Almost 100 percent of them, BA and PMO, have mostly gone down to villages and sub-districts, which in the near future we will also give them assignments regarding the acceleration of inventory points, land points that will soon be built by PT Agrinas," he explained.

The Ministry of Cooperatives also continues to increase the capacity of human resources by training 42,000 cooperative administrators from 19 provinces to be able to manage cooperatives professionally and sustainably.

"Then there are also 11,545 companions from 31 provinces. This is still ongoing. We are indeed doing this approach in parallel along with the physical development process carried out, so that by later the hope is that physical development will be completed, then supervisors, administrators, managers are ready to manage," said the Coordinating Minister.

Sebelumnya, Menkop menyatakan kebutuhan anggaran untuk pembangunan fisik Koperasi Desa/Kelurahan Merah Putih diperkirakan mencapai Rp2,5 miliar per lokasi.

“Ya sekitar Rp2,5 miliar. Itu pembangunan fisiknya, kelengkapannya, sarana pendukung, termasuk kendaraan operasional. Itu sudah murah, lebih murah dari rata-rata,” kata Ferry di Jakarta, Kamis, 6 November 2025.

Ferry menyebut hingga Kamis 6 November 2025, sebanyak 7.923 titik kopdes telah mulai dibangun infrastruktur fisiknya secara serentak.

Previously, the Coordinating Minister stated that the budget requirement for the physical construction of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative was estimated at IDR 2.5 billion per location.

"Yes, around Rp. 2.5 billion. That's physical development, completeness, supporting facilities, including operational vehicles. It's already cheap, cheaper than the average," said Ferry in Jakarta, Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Ferry said that as of Thursday, November 6, 2025, 7,923 Kopdes points had begun to build their physical infrastructure simultaneously.
