JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo is optimistic that the realization of absorption for the 2025 Fiscal Year (TA) of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) can reach 96.77 percent by the end of next year.

"At the end of the year, the 2025 budget in December 2025 is still optimistic that the Ministry of Public Works' financial prognosis is projected to reach 96.77 percent," he said.
To note, the realization of the budget for the Fiscal Year (TA) 2025 has only reached 56.53 percent until November 2025. In fact, the Ministry of Public Works previously targeted the absorption of FY 2025 to reach 89.03 percent by the end of 2025.
"As for the realization of the budget as of this morning, November 17, 2025 at 08.00 am, the physical progress reached 61.54 percent, while the financial progress reached 59.06 percent or absorbed Rp64.86 trillion from the total budget of Rp109.81 trillion," he said.

According to Dody, the addition of a budget for the implementation of development in accordance with the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) in the second semester of 2025 affects the achievement of budget realization.
"We report that the additional budget for the implementation of the Presidential Instruction in the second semester will also affect the achievement of financial realization. However, we are still optimistic that the financial prognosis of the Ministry of Public Works is projected to reach 96.77 percent by the end of the year," he explained.
The additional budget of the Ministry of Public Works reached Rp23 trillion, originating from unblocking efficiency and also ratifying capital expenditures of the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN) for the implementation of land acquisition for a number of PU Ministry projects.
