Merger Plans To Continue, Brantas Abipraya Ensures Entering Company Roadmaps In 2026

PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero) ensures that the planned merger of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Karya continues and has been included in the company's roadmap or roadmap in 2026.

President Director of Brantas Abipraya Sugeng Rochadi revealed that currently, the BUMN Karya integration process is still in the study stage with consultants.

"We have carried out the integration process with consultants, of course, and this is still under study," he said in a hearing with Commission VI of the DPR RI in Jakarta, Monday, November 17.

Sugeng said the integration plan had also been included in the roadmap for the development of corporate action in 2026. He said, with this plan, Brantas Abipraya would return to focus on its core business.

Brantas Abipraya is known to have four business lines, namely the building division, water resources, infrastructure, and equipment and precast.

Currently, continued Sugeng, the company is also continuing to prepare for integration in accordance with the direction of the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI).

"And there are two important directions that we need to convey here. The first is our responsibility as Danantara partners to prepare for the integration," he said.

Then, said Sugeng, the company will also make arrangements according to Danantara's direction regarding the downsizing of the company's children and grandchildren to be completed in 2026.

"We are also rearranging the children and grandchildren of the company which is expected to be completed next year. So we will combine several grandchildren into one more economical area," he said.

For your information, there are seven SOEs that will be merged, namely PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk. PT Hutama Karya (Persero), PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero), PT Nindya Karya (Persero), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk.

The plan is that PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk will join PT Hutama Karya (Persero). Then, PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) or PTPP will be merged with PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk. Then, for Brantas Abipraya will be combined with Nindya Karya.
