JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance has issued Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 70 of 2025 concerning Strategic Plans (Renstra) of the Ministry of Finance for 2025-2029.

The Strategic Plan of the Ministry of Finance for 2025-2029 is a medium-term strategic planning document of the Ministry of Finance for a period of 5 years from 2025 to 2029, which is used as a reference in the preparation of the Strategic Plan of the Echelon Unit I and the Non-Echelon Organizational Unit which is directly responsible to the Minister of Finance within the Ministry of Finance, citing the regulation, Thursday 6 November.

National Development Target 2025-2029

In the PMK, it is stated that the success of achieving the development target is measured through several indicators as follows:

1. Increase per capita income towards the equivalent of developed countries, with an indicator:

- Economic growth from 5.05 percent in 2024, increased to 5.3 percent in 2025 and to 8 percent in 2029.

- GNI per capita increased from 4,870 US dollars in 2023 to 5,410 US dollars in 2025 and 8,000 US dollars in 2029.

- Maritime GDP contribution increased from 7.9 percent in 2022 to 8.1 percent in 2025 and 9.1 percent in 2029.

- The contribution of GDP Manufacturing increased from 18.67 percent in 2023 to 20.8 percent in 2025 and 21.9 percent in 2029.

2. Leadership and influence in the international world are increasing, with the Global Power Index indicator increasing, from rank 34 in 2023 to rank 33 2025 and rank 29 in 2029.

3. Poverty decreases and inequality decreases, with indicators, namely the poverty rate decreases from 9.03 percent in March 2024 to 7.0 percent to 8.0 percent in 2025 and the range of 4.5 percent to 5.0 percent in 2029.
