PTPP Encourages Efficiency And Green Innovation In National Construction: Pioneer Of Sustainable Development In Indonesia

JAKARTA - PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP), a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia, continues to strengthen its commitment to encouraging sustainable construction practices through the application of green construction innovation (Green Construction) and energy efficiency in various national strategic projects. This step is part of corporate transformation to strengthen new reputations as pioneers of environmentally friendly development in Indonesia.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo, emphasized that PTPP now views development not only in terms of physical infrastructure but also from ecological and social responsibility.

As the main actor in the national construction sector, PTPP has implemented the concept of green building and energy efficiency in a number of iconic projects, including the IT Mandiri Building, BRI Tower Building, Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) in Kulonprogo, JSI Sunter, Singapore Embassy in Jakarta, the PUPR Ministry Building, and various environmentally friendly projects in the Nusantara Capital (IKN) area.

Each of these projects is designed with an environmental efficiency principle, including the use of recycled materials, energy efficient lighting systems, water recycling systems, as well as the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to optimize the use of resources and reduce carbon footprint.

"Green transformation is no longer an option, but a must. We want to ensure that every development carried out by PTPP provides long-term benefits, not only economically, but also for the environment and future generations," added Joko.

In addition to implementing green practices in the field, PTPP is also actively collaborating with construction technology startups and national universities to develop research related to energy efficiency, smart building management, and environmentally friendly technology. This collaboration is proof of PTPP's commitment to accelerating the adoption of green technology in the Indonesian construction sector.
