PTBA Still Reviewing The New RKAB Format, Wait For Technical Directions From The Ministry Of Energy And Mineral Resources

BANDUNG - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) is making adjustments to the 2026 Work Plan and Fee Budget (RKAB), in line with the implementation of the one-year RKAB format by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

PTBA's Corporate Communication & Government Relations Department Head, Dinna Permana Setyani said, the adjustment process was still ongoing because the regulation had just been socialized by the government.

"Friends from mining are still adjusting because the socialization was only carried out this week," Dinna said in Bandung, written on Sunday, October 26.

Dinna explained that the change in RKAB format from three years to one year made the internal PTBA team need to make adjustments in the planning and budget aspects.

Currently, continued Dinna, a team from the mining and budget division is reviewing the impact of the policy on the company's future targets and work plans.

"Because the rules have just been socialized, friends are also still measuring and adjusting to the ones that have been prepared before," he said.

Dinna said PTBA would wait for further directions from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources regarding the technical instructions for the implementation of the three-year RKAB before submitting the official update of the company's work plan.

For your information, PTBA's coal production volume was recorded at 35.90 million tons by the end of September 2025. This figure increased 9 percent compared to 32.97 million tons in the same period last year.

Then, the contribution of subsidiaries in the mining service sector, PT Satria Bahana Sarana, was also recorded at 21 percent of the total production with a locus of 5.98 times until the third quarter of 2025.

Dari sisi penjualan, PTBA juga berhasil menjual 33,70 juta ton batu bara. Angka tersebut meningkat 8 persen dari 31,28 juta ton pada periode yang sama tahun sebelumnya.

Rinciannya, 56 persen diserap pasar domestik, sementara sisanya diekspor.

Tak hanya itu, volume angkutan batu bara juga naik menjadi 30,02 juta ton. Angka tersebut meningkat 8 persen dibandingkan 27,83 juta ton pada periode yang sama tahun lalu.

In terms of sales, PTBA also managed to sell 33.70 million tons of coal. This figure increased by 8 percent from 31.28 million tons in the same period the previous year.

In detail, 56 percent were absorbed by the domestic market, while the rest were exported.

Not only that, the volume of coal transportation also rose to 30.02 million tons. This figure increased by 8 percent compared to 27.83 million tons in the same period last year.

The increase was supported by logistics coordination and supply chain efficiency which the company continues to optimize.
