JCI Tuesday Is Predicted To Continue Strengthening, These Five Stocks Are Championed By Analysts

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is projected to continue to strengthen in today's trading, Tuesday, October 21, Phintraco Sekuritas in its research estimates that the JCI will move in the resistance range of 8,170, pivot 8,100, and support 8,000 today.

Phintraco Sekuritas explained that the JCI closed higher at 8,088.98 (2.19 percent) on Monday's trading. Shares of the financial sector posted the largest increase, driven by expectations of lower interest rates. The rupiah closed higher against the US dollar.

The government has added BLT to more than 35 million beneficiary families with a budget of IDR 30 trillion derived from the government's budget efficiency since early 2025.

"This BLT is for the October-December 2025 period which is expected to boost people's purchasing power," wrote Phintraco Sekuritas.

China's GDP in the third quarter of 2025 grew 4.8 percent YoY, down from 5.2 percent YoY in the second quarter of 2025, which is the lowest level since the third quarter of 2024 but is in accordance with expectations. For industrial production data in September 2025, it accelerated 6.5 percent YoY from 5.2 percent YoY in August 2025, and above the estimated 5.0 percent YoY.

This is the fastest level since June driven by increased manufacturing activity. However, for retail sales growth in September 2025, it slowed to 3 percent YoY from 3.4 percent YoY in August 2025, and was the smallest growth since August 2024," explained Phintraco Sekuritas.

Technically, Phintraco Sekuritas said, Stochastic RSI formed a Golden Cross in an oversold area that supports short-term rebound signals and narrows down the negative slope of MACD. JCI was successfully closed above the psychological level of 8,000 and above MA5.

However, continued Phintraco Sekuritas, the JCI is still below the MA20 level around the 8,113 level.

"Thus, today's JCI is predicted to continue strengthening and test the 8,150-8,170 level, if it can survive above the MA20 with volume," added Phintraco Sekuritas.
