Menkop Reveals Sad Facts After 81,000 Red And White Kopdes-Kopkel Formed

JAKARTA - More than 81,000 Red and White Village/kelurahan Cooperatives (Kopdes/Kel) have been formed to date.

However, many sad facts have been found regarding this matter.

This was conveyed by the Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop) Ferry Juliantono in his remarks at the Investor Daily Summit entitled "New Economic Order" at the Jakarta Convention Center, Wednesday, October 8.

Ferry said the first fact is that the village is not supported by accurate data.

In fact, he continued, accurate data is very much needed to reduce poverty.

"We really need accurate village data urgency to support the real aspects that we can do to reduce poverty, thank God we can eliminate poverty in villages," said Ferry.

The second fact is that there are still many villages that do not have electricity to date.

"We found that there are still a lot of villages that do not have electricity, I need the number to convey here. But, I want to convey there are, there are still many villages in Indonesia that do not have electricity," he said.

The third fact, said Ferry, is that there are still many villages that have not been connected to the internet network.

"Well, these are problems that must be faced by this new economic order. This new economic order must think about how there are villages that do not have electricity, how villages are not connected to the internet network, how there are still many words of poverty and backwardness," explained Ferry.

Menurut Ferry, hal tersebut belum bisa terselesaikan sampai saat ini.

Untuk itu, dia berharap, pembentukan Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih bisa menjadi salah satu solusinya.

"Kami di Kementerian Koperasi bersama dengan Pemerintahan Pak Prabowo Subianto berharap, Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih dengan dukungan dari data desa presisi, dengan dukungan dari semua pihak. Karena ini kami sadar bukan hanya tugas dari Kementerian Koperasi, tapi tugas kami semua karena sejatinya adalah sedang menjalankan amanat Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 dan menuntaskan cita-cita para founding fathers dan para founding mothers kami yang belum tuntas kami selesaikan," tutur dia.

According to Ferry, this has not been resolved until now.

For this reason, he hopes that the formation of Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih can be one solution.

"We at the Ministry of Cooperatives together with the Government of Pak Prabowo Subianto hope that the Red and White Kopdes/Kel with the support of precision village data, with the support of all parties. Because of this, we realize that it is not only the task of the Ministry of Cooperatives, but our job because it is actually carrying out the mandate of the 1945 Constitution and completing the ideals of our founding fathers and founding mothers that we have not completed yet," he said.
