The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) has opened its voice regarding the statement by the Islamic Student Association Alumni Corps (KAHMI) which said that many textile companies were closed and laid off employees due to high import quotas.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry, Febri Hendri Antoni Arif, assessed that the allegations were baseless, because the instruments owned by the Ministry of Industry were only part of the textile import ecosystem chain.
