Pertamina Calls Base Fuel Cargo For Private Gas Stations Arrived Today

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) ensures that the base fuel cargo arrives in Jakarta today, Wednesday, September 24. According to Pertamina, this step is a follow-up to the government's directive through the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, which encourages collaboration in meeting fuel needs between Pertamina and private enterprises (SPRS).

Pj. Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun said the meeting with private BU had been held twice, namely Friday 19 September and Tuesday 23 September.

"In the first meeting, private BU expressed its willingness to buy base fuel-based fuel products that have not been mixed with additives and dyes. Pertamina and private BU also agreed to use an open book price mechanism and involve independent parties (join surveyors) to ensure the quality of the products distributed," said Robert, Wednesday, September 24.

This agreement is an important basis for ensuring transparency and certainty of supply in the field. He emphasized that Pertamina opened a collaboration space with the spirit of mutual respect for the applicable rules and governance.

Robert bikang, at the second meeting last Tuesday, all private BU were present, namely Vivo, AKR, Exxon, BP, and Shell. Some companies still need time to coordinate with their respective global headquarters, but they convey the same commitment to immediately convey the need for additional quotas.

"Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that the required base fuel cargo has arrived in Jakarta according to the specifications of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Ditjen Migas)," said Robert.

Furthermore, Robert explained, the supply quality mechanism will be ensured through a joint surveyor, while one-on-one meetings with each private BU will be held to discuss the details of the needs and distribution plans to the community.

Roberth emphasized that this meeting was held with the basis of good intentions and the spirit of collaboration in services to the community.

"Our hope is to immediately obtain information on supply needs from private BU, so that distribution to the community can run smoothly. This step is in line with the direction of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources so that fuel stocks, both subsidies and non-subsidized, can be immediately available according to community needs," said Robert.
