JAKARTA - President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara, Angelo De Sousa Mota, admitted that he was willing to continue to lead the company if the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) rejected his resignation.
Joao Angelo himself has submitted his resignation on Monday, August 11. It's been more than 30 days, it turns out that Joao is still in that position.
"Yes (if it is rejected) later we will consider what we must do for the sake of a bigger nation and state. If I have to stay, yes, I will definitely be willing to sacrifice and serve the nation and state," he said when met at the Office of the Coordinating Ministry for Food, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 16.
Joao said that the final decision regarding his resignation will be determined in the GMS which will be held on September 20.
"I'm waiting for the GMS. Maybe later on September 20," he said.
Previously, it was reported that Joao Angelo officially resigned from the position of President Director of PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. The resignation coincided with 6 months of him leading the food SOE.
The decision to resign, continued Joao, has also been officially submitted to the management of Agrinas Pangan Nusantata. Furthermore, a letter will be submitted to the Anagata Nusantara Resources Investment Management Agency (Danantara).
