JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) reported that the realization of capital expenditure (Capex) until the first semester of 2025 had been going according to plan.

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono said, until the middle of this year, the absorption of investment capex for the construction of the JSMR toll road reached Rp4.95 trillion.

"Until now, the 2025 capex is still going according to plan. Until the first semester, the absorption of this toll road construction investment capex is IDR 4.95 trillion," Rivan said in a Public Expose Live 2025, Friday, September 12.

Rivan explained, the realization of capex until the end of the year will depend heavily on the progress of the construction of each toll road section.

He said several projects were currently underway, including the South Jakarta 'Cikampek II Toll Road, Jogja'Bawen, Solo' Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta International Airport Kulon Progo, Probolinggo' Banyuwangi and Patimban Access Toll Road.

The former President Director of Jasa Raharja added that the progress of land acquisition for each project also affected capex absorption, because it was related to the budget allocation from the government. JSMR estimates that the total capex until the end of 2025 will be in the range of IDR 10 trillion to IDR 12 trillion.

"We are stimulus for capex until the end of this year is around Rp. 10 to Rp. 12 trillion," he said.

The performance of the first semester of 2025 JSMR was supported by the company's operating revenue and EBITDA growth as well as a consolidated reduction in financial costs by 20.4 percent (yoy) as a positive impact of Equity Financing's corporate action at PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol (JTT) which was carried out by the company in the fourth quarter of 2024.

"This shows the company's commitment to implementing a business burden control strategy and focusing on optimizing operational efficiency and effectiveness, overall contributing to improving the company's financial performance," he said.

Currently, the company is focusing on the five toll road projects that are being completed. Among others, the South Jakarta 'Cikampek II Toll Road: Patimban Access Toll Road; Yogyakarta'Bawen Toll Road; Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Kulonprogo Toll Road; and the Probolinggo 'Banyuwangi Toll Road.
