The Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) until the end of July 2025 has recorded revenues of IDR 171.07 trillion.

Director General of Customs and Excise Djaka Budhi Utama explained that the increase was mainly supported by an increase in revenue from the excise and excise duty sector. Meanwhile, revenues from import duties have decreased slightly.

Djaka detailed that revenues from import duties reached Rp28.04 trillion, but decreased by 3.3 percent on an annual basis.
He explained that this decline was caused by government policies that focused on national food security and changes in the global trade situation.
"Bea entered contracted 3.3 percent compared to the same period, as a consequence of policies to support domestic food security in line with self-sufficiency efforts and the dynamics of global trade," he said.
On the other hand, he explained, revenue from the exit fee jumped sharply by 74.54 percent to Rp16.18 trillion.
According to him, this increase was supported by the average price of crude palm oil (CPO) which was higher than last year and the easing of the copper export policy involving PT Freeport Indonesia.
Meanwhile, Djaka said, revenue from excise was recorded at IDR 126.85 trillion, growing 9.26 percent on an annual basis.
