DMAS Says There Are Interests In Chinese Investors In Relocation Of Factories To Deltamas Industrial Estates

JAKARTA - Sinar Mas Group issuer, PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk (DMAS) confirmed the interest of Chinese investors in planning to relocate production facilities to the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) industrial area of Deltamas City, Cikarang.

DMAS Director and Corporate Secretary Tondy Suwanto said the United States (US) reciprocal tariff policy had encouraged Chinese manufacturing companies to look for alternative production bases in Southeast Asia, one of which was Indonesia.

According to him, this condition opens up opportunities for the company to offer GIIC to potential tenants. The communication process with investors has begun.

"I think there are several investors, especially from China, who want to relocate and for now of course there are some that we are communicating with. We will take advantage of this opportunity," Tondy said in a Public Expose Live 2025, Wednesday, September 10.

Deltamas City GIIC is currently inhabited by around 170 tenants, the majority of which come from Japanese industries, such as Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Astra Honda Motor.

As for the first semester of 2025, DMAS has pocketed pre-sales of IDR 580 billion or 32.15 percent of the 2025 target, which is IDR 1.81 trillion. This achievement is dominated by the data center segment or data center with a contribution of 69 percent.

Meanwhile, in terms of finance, DMAS achieved revenue of IDR 613.35 billion in the first semester of 2025, down 49.07 percent year on year (yoy).

The correction was caused by the weak sale of industrial land which was the main support for revenue.
