Minister Dody Ensures IC People's Schools Are Ready To Be Used In Mid-September 2025

SEMARANG The Ministry of Public Works as a form of support from President Prabowo Subianto's vision in Asta Cita succeeded in completing 165 People's Schools in Phase I.

The construction of Phase I People's Schools is carried out in three stages, namely Phase IA with 63 locations, Phase IB with 37 locations, and Phase IC which is the last stage of 65 locations. One of the Public Schools at the IC Stage is located in Semarang City.

Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo, reviewed the readiness of the 1C People's School located at the Semarang City Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP), Monday, September 8.

The school, which is located on Jalan Brigadier General Sudiarto No.118, Palebon, Pedurungan District, has been completed and is scheduled to start operating in mid-September 2025.

The Semarang City BBPVP People's School has a capacity of 100 students, consisting of 50 elementary school (2 rombel) students and 50 high school (2 rombel) students.

"I saw that it was good and ready. There were 4 rombels, and earlier I asked for the teacher's room to be brought closer to the stairs because to anticipate the vulnerabilities, these are 2 rombels for the elementary level," said Minister Dody.

The 1C Phase People's School Renovation will be carried out starting July 28, 2025 and completed on August 21, 2025, with physical realization reaching 100 percent.

The People's School is planned to start operating on September 15, 2025.

The available facilities and infrastructure include classrooms, teacher rooms, school principal rooms, computer laboratories, IPA laboratories, libraries, UKS rooms, tennis courts, soccer courts, mosques, as well as dormitories for students and teachers equipped with dining rooms.

With the completion of this development, it is hoped that the 1C BBPVP People's School of Semarang City can become a quality and inclusive learning center, encourage equal access to education, and increase the competitiveness of human resources in Central Java.

Sekolah ini juga dilengkapi meubelair sebanyak 729 unit meliputi meja dan kursi siswa, meja guru, papan tulis, rak buku, hingga ranjang asrama.

Berdasarkan monitoring pekerjaan renovasi Sekokah Rakyat Tahap IC di seluruh Indonesia, progres konstruksinya rata-rata sudah di atas 97 persen.

Pada Tahap IC terdapat total 248 rombongan belajar (rombel) dengan kapasitas 6.190 siswa, meliputi jenjang SD, SMP, hingga SMA. Semnatara untuk Jawa Tengah terdapat 12 lokasi Sekolah Rakyat Tahap 1 dengan total 1.075 siswa.

This school is also equipped with 729 furniture covering student tables and chairs, teacher tables, whiteboards, book racks, and dormitory beds.

Based on the monitoring of the IC Phase People's School renovation work throughout Indonesia, the construction progress is an average of above 97 percent.

In the IC Stage, there are a total of 248 study groups (rombel) with a capacity of 6,190 students, covering elementary, junior high, and high school levels. Meanwhile, for Central Java, there are 12 Phase 1 People's School locations with a total of 1,075 students.
