The Ministry Of SOEs Gets A Budget Of IDR 280 Billion In 2026, What To Use?

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) received a budget ceiling for the 2026 fiscal year of IDR 280 billion. The budget is divided according to the ministry's functions and main duties.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir said the focus of the Ministry of SOEs in 2026 is to carry out its role and function as a regulator, supervisor and shareholder of Series A according to Law Number 1 of 2025.

"We can see, for this year we get Rp280 billion, where we will share it according to the previous pre-arranged main tasks, namely as regulators, supervisors, series A shareholders, and others," he said during a Working Meeting with Commission VI DPR RI, Thursday, September 4.

In detail, Erick said that the budget of the Ministry of SOEs in 2026 will be allocated for administration or operations amounting to Rp129.2 billion or 46 percent.

Then the function of the Ministry of SOEs for regulators is Rp. 38.1 billion or 14 percent. In addition, the budget will also be used by the Ministry of SOEs for the supervisory function of Rp. 32.8 billion or 11.7 percent.

Furthermore, Erick said, the budget will also be used to monitor the risk of portfolios, audit regulatory-based compliance, and ensure that SOE priorities are in line with the President's vision and mission of the country.

"For the supervisory function, we actually expect it to be even higher," he explained.

Kemudian, akan digunakan juga untuk menjalankan fungsi Kementerian BUMN sebagai pemegang saham seri A dan Perum Rp2,4 miliar atau 1 persen, serta belanja pegawai Kementerian BUMN sebesar Rp98,7 miliar.

“Kami juga sebagai pemegang saham Seri A dan pengelolaan Perum, memastikan keselarasan strategi antara portfolio BUMN yang dikelola Danantara terhadap program strategis Bapak Presiden. Pengelolaan Perum menjaga keberlanjutan BUMN dalam menjalankan penugasan pemerintah,” katanya.

Then, it will also be used to carry out the function of the Ministry of SOEs as a series A shareholder and Perum Rp2.4 billion or 1 percent, as well as spending on employees of the Ministry of SOEs of Rp. 98.7 billion.

"We are also Seri A shareholders and the management of Perum, ensuring the alignment of the strategy between the BUMN portfolio managed by Danantara for the President's strategic program. Perum management maintains the sustainability of SOEs in carrying out government assignments," he said.
