Authority: Ministry Of ATR/BPN Enters The List Of Ministry Of Priority Institutions Moves To IKN

JAKARTA - The determination of the priority of ministries/agencies to move to the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) has been carried out by the IKN Authority.

This follows up on the OIKN meeting with 16 ministries/agencies on August 8, 2025.

IKN Bimo Authority Secretary Adi Nursanthyasto said, based on the meeting, that the basis for the transfer and/or assignment of ASN to IKN was based on the constitutional mandate, the RPJMN priority program and the president's commitment and direction.

"The transfer and/or assignment of ASN ministries/agencies in 2025-2029 will use 25 towers that have been built and we will continue with the construction of ASN flats," said Bimo in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission II of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.

Bimo explained that at least 10 urgencys had been mapped by the Authority regarding the transfer of ministries/agencies to IKN.

The ten urgencys include land settlement and the release of forest areas; development of basic infrastructure, offices of judiciary, legislative, residential and supporting facilities; implementation of security, order during the development and development of IKN; development and arrangement of transportation; as well as preparation of basic services, ease of investment and business.

Then, support the KPBU scheme, preparation for the implementation of the OIKN pemdasus in terms of asset and financial management; environmental restoration and development of environmental restoration systems; development of a digital ecosystem and smart defense at IKN; coordination, synchronization and control of the implementation of IKN development along with supporting facilities and infrastructure; as well as coordination, synchronization and control in the preparation of basic services at IKN.

Based on the results of the Authority mapping, said Bimo, one of the government institutions that is included in the priority list to move to IKN is the Ministry of ATR/BPN.

"If we may just cuplic one of the ministries/agencies that have coincided with the urgency, we will mention one first, Mr. Ministry of ATR/BPN," he said.

According to Bimo, his party has mapped the organizational structure of the ministry to the Echelon II work unit.

"And we are cuplik directly from the organizational structure and work procedures (SOTK) of ministries/institutions that already exist today," he concluded.
