Jasa Marga Allocates IDR 80 Billion To Repair Post-Demonstration Damaged Toll Gate

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk or JSMR has allocated a budget of IDR 80 billion to repair toll gates under damaged management due to the massive demonstrations in the last few days.

These improvements were also made, including for seven toll gates that were burned by the masses.

This was conveyed by Jasa Marga President Director Rivan Achmad Purwantono while visiting the Pejompongan Toll Gate (GT), Jakarta, together with the Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo, Tuesday, September 2.

Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo admitted that he had offered Jasa Marga assistance three times, but was rejected.

"Yesterday we calculated around Rp80 billion, the repairs have started. So Sunday we can enter. Today what we see behind this is already days of cleaning," said Rivan.

Rivan ensured that the improvement efforts had been included in the financial planning. According to him, the most important thing is that community services can be done more quickly.

"Yes, actually this will be part of the planning. There must be damage like this too, it's part of the backup, yes, if there is damage like this. So, the company is still possible," he said.

The seven GTs burned were GT Senayan; GT Slipi 1; GT Slipi 2; GT Pejompongan; GT Semanggi 1; GT Semanggi 2; and GT Kuningan.

Of the seven, GT Pejompongan became the worst affected by the two burnings.

He admitted that the main challenge of GT repairs was the existence of damaged or mass taken servers.

For this reason, server repairs will be the focus so that GT can be operated immediately.

"So it was damaged, some were taken by the server and so on. So why did it take so long, because it had to build a server. Local servers, yes, and yesterday the most important thing was that it was our priority to the network," he said.

Lebih lanjut, Rivan menargetkan, pada 10 September mendatang, seluruh GT terkena dampak ringan sampai terbakar tersebut bisa kembali fungsional.

"Jadi, sekarang ada 22 gerbang tol otomatis (GTO), 17 berfungsi tanggal 7 (September) dan 10 seluruh GTO berfungsi kembali normal," ujar dia.

Furthermore, Rivan targets, on September 10, all GTs affected lightly until they catch fire can return functionally.

"So, now there are 22 automatic toll gates (GTO), 17 functioning on 7 (September) and 10 all GTOs functioning back to normal," he said.
