There Are Two New Institutions And The Ministry Of Hajj Formed, The Ministry Of Finance Is Still In The Budget Process

President Prabowo Subianto officially formed two new institutions, namely the North Coast Management Authority of Java (Pantura) and the Mineral Industry Agency.

In addition, the government has also formed the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, which comes from the transformation of existing institutions, namely the Hajj Organizing Body (BP).

The Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance, Luky Alfirman, said that the budgeting process for the three new institutions is still in the discussion stage.

"(The budget calculation) is still on going," he told the media crew, Wednesday, August 27.

He added that technically the funding for the formation of two new agencies and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah will most likely come from the State General Treasurer's Budget Section (BA BUN).

"(Entering Ba BUN) Yes, it's just technical, (the details) haven't yet, it's still in process)," he said

Luky also explained that the budget would be drawn up after coordination with the Ministry of State Secretariat (Setneg) was completed, considering that the State Secretariat was preparing the Organizational and Governance Structure (SOTK) of these institutions.

"That will be taken care of by the State Secretariat, because it will form an Organizational and Governance Structure (SOTK) first," he explained.
